Augie Guzman is a seasoned group facilitator, public speaker, and community architect with over three decades of experience at the intersection of human development, recovery, and systemic change. His work is defined by a powerful three-pronged perspective: that of a Recovery Coach who has walked the path, the clinical rigor of a Group Process and Group Stages of Development expert, and the strategic focus of a Community Organizer with a proven track record of achieving lasting systemic change.
Throughout his career, Augie has built bridges. As a Community Organizer and Liaison, he learned that sustainable change happens when people feel seen, heard, and connected. As a Youth Prevention/Intervention Specialist and Prevention Program Coordinator, he developed the foresight to interrupt cycles before they start. And as a Parent Educator and Fathering Specialist, he discovered that healing one person is powerful, but healing a family is transformational.
Currently, as the host of The Message with Augie Guzman, Augie continues his life's work: creating healing spaces for honest conversation, equipping professionals with better tools, and guiding fathers, families, and communities toward their own resilience. Whether developing curriculum as an Adult Education Director, providing clinical healing, or speaking to organizations, his approach is grounded in the belief that we all have the capacity to facilitate change in ourselves and in others.
