Welcome to season one: The Discovery Season
Over the past year, I've lost count of how many people have told me I should start a podcast. "You have a voice and a message people need to hear," they insist. But here's the truth: I never really considered podcasting, which meant I never questioned what that message is or who it's for. So I started this show to figure out the show.
This isn’t your typical interview podcast. Each week, I sit down with the very people who urged me to do this, but also friends, mentors, and colleagues, and turn the mic back on them. I’m asking the hard questions: What specific message do you hear when I speak? Who do you picture listening to me? What need do you think I’m supposed to fill?
Think of this as a vulnerable, real-time investigation into my own purpose guided by the people who see something in me that I don’t yet see in myself. We’ll laugh, we’ll get uncomfortable, and we’ll try to build a roadmap in the dark.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re waiting for someone to give you permission to start or if you’re searching for your own “thing” but don’t know where to begin, come along. You’re not just eavesdropping on my journey to find my audience. You might just realize you are the audience. And that maybe we’re all looking for the same thing.
